About the Event:
MTN Business Pitch is a national SME competition and business growth platform designed to discover, empower and accelerate high-potential businesses across all 16 regions of Ghana.
The programme will provide participating businesses with access to funding, mentorship, business development, networking and national exposure, while celebrating the entrepreneurs contributing to Ghana’s economic growth.
The initiative also presents an opportunity for MTN Business to strengthen its positioning beyond connectivity, demonstrating its role as a growth partner and enabler of digital transformation for Ghanaian businesses.
Period: 27th October to 5th November
Stage: Call for entries
Competition Journey:
1. Regional Call for Entries: Applications will be invited from eligible businesses across all 16 regions.
2. Regional Screening & Auditions: Applications will be screened against the entry requirements, followed by regional-level auditions.
3. Selection of 48: 48 businesses will be selected across the four zones to progress in the competition.
4. National Top 16 Selection: The strongest 16 contestants will advance to the national stage in Accra.
5. Accra Business Bootcamp: The Top 16 will be hosted in Accra for an intensive business growth and pitch-readiness bootcamp, including mentorship, business development sessions and pitch preparation.
7. Top 5 Finalists: Following the bootcamp and subsequent business challenges/pitches, five contestants will be shortlisted for the grand finale.
8.Vertical Awards: GHC30,000 will be given out to 5 business that stand out in various fields including business resilience, sustainability, innovation, among others.
