Unlimited Fiber Plan – Terms of Service
A. Eligibility & Purchase
- This offer is exclusively available to MTN Home and Business prepaid Customers.
- Plans are purchased via a one-off fee for the chosen duration (Quarterly, Semi-annual, or Annual).
- This Plan cannot be combined with any other Fiber Bundle (Standard or Flexi). Purchasing another bundle will automatically cancel and replace this Unlimited plan.
B. Pricing & Discounts
- Customers on this plan are eligible for up to a 10% discount on their yearly spend.
- The one-off fee is non-refundable except under the specific conditions outlined in sections C.9 and D.12.
C. Plan Usage & Management
- Speed: Customers select one dedicated internet speed for the duration of their Plan term.
- Speed Changes: To change your subscribed speed, you must cancel your current Plan. A new Plan can be selected after a thirty (30) day waiting period.
- Renewal: Plans will automatically renew upon expiry unless cancelled by the Customer.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, no partial refunds will be issued for the remaining term unless under the relocation policy (see D.12).
D. Relocation, Suspension & Termination
- Account Freeze (Suspension): You may request to suspend (“freeze”) your account due to relocation or other valid reasons for a maximum of one (1) month. Your Plan will be reactivated afterward.
- Relocation to Fiber Area: If relocating, you must request an account freeze to preserve your Plan offer for reactivation at your new address.
- Relocation to Non-Fiber Area: If you relocate to an area without MTN Fiber coverage and have more than three (3) months remaining on your plan, you may request a pro-rata refund. This requires a one-month advance notice, and your account will be suspended upon request submission.
E. Support & Equipment
- Technical Support: MTN’s technical support is limited to issues related to MTN-provided infrastructure and equipment. We are not liable for problems with Customer-owned devices (including but not limited to routers, PCs, etc.).
- Equipment: You are responsible for any router or device provided by MTN under this Plan. Lost or damaged equipment will incur replacement fees.
- Technical Issues: Customers who report technical issues that are validated by MTN’s support team will have their Plan term reinstated for the duration of the outage.
F. Network & General Terms
- Network Management: Our Unlimited Speed Plan is delivered over a shared network. While we strive to provide consistent speeds, advertised rates are not guaranteed and may vary based on overall network availability and congestion.
- Non-Transferable: This Plan is non-transferable and is tied to the original account holder.
- Changes to Terms: MTN reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Customers will be notified in advance of any significant changes that adversely affect their service.
G. Definitions
- The following defined terms apply to these terms and conditions:
- “Customer” means a home or business account holder that subscribes to the fiber service.
- “Fiber Bundle” means Flexi bundle, Standard bundle or Speed-based offer.
- “Plan” means either 30 days offer, 90 days offer, 180 days offer and 360 days offer.
