MTN Ghana Job Applicant Data Privacy Notice
1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Welcome to MTN Y’ello Biz. The Y’elloBiz service is a combination of a 4G
router, Microsoft 365 license, Unicom service (“fixed voice”) and a 1-year starter
plan for Webwiz. This bundle product is specially designed and packaged for
Ghanaian businesses.
1.2 In using the service, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions
of the agreement as per below or as may be revised from time to time. The
service is for a term as long as the customer remains subscribed to the services
and you understand and agree that you are bound by such terms till the time
you stop using the services. We reserve the right to change these terms &
conditions from time to time and will notify you of the change by making it
available on the MTN website.
2 DEFINITION
2.1 Service means Y’elloBiz provided by MTN Business. Y’elloBiz is a combination
of a 4G router, Microsoft 365 license for 3 months, Unicom 3 months subscription
and 1-year starter plan for Webwiz.
2.2 Subscriber means individual or business that has purchased a Y’elloBiz service.
2.3 Service Provider means Scancom PLC, MTN Ghana.
3 DURATION AND TERM Y’ello Biz is a one-off service which comprises of a 4G router, Microsoft 365
license for 3 months, Unicom for 3 months subscription and 1-year starter plan
for Webwiz.
4 SIM REGISTRATION AND REQUIREMENTS
4.1 All Subscribers are expected to register their sim cards before the sim can be
used.
4.2 The following information and documents are required for registration:
4.2.1 Ghana Card ID,
4.2.2 Digital Address and
4.2.3 Biometric Capture
4.2.4 Business Certificate and MTN registered number are required in addition
to the above where the business has valid business registration
documentation.
4.3 The timeline for Y’ello Biz registration to be completed is 7 working days after
submission to MTN agent.
5 BILLING AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
5.1 4G Router is prepaid and payment is made through mobile money or cash
deposit.
5.2 Data bundles for the 4G router is purchased through mobile money or airtime.

6 WARRANTY
4G Routers have a warranty for 6 months. The subscriber would need to
provide router sim number, device IMEI, Ghana card ID of the subscriber’s
account it is registered in.
7 FAULTY/DAMAGED ROUTERS
7.1 Faulty devices may be brought to MTN branch for checks by the Enterprise
Business support team.
7.2 Devices found to be damaged by the subscriber/user after checks are not
eligible for replacement.
8 PRICES
By taking up the service offered, the Subscriber agrees to pay the applicable
charges. MTN reserves the right to revise the applicable tariffs from time to time
and such revisions may be advertised or issued on demand. The revised tariffs
shall apply from the date it was advertised or notified.
9 USAGE PRIORITY
This will depend on available data or voice airtime in the customer’s dedicated
account. The Y’ello Biz bonus offer will have first priority if existing data or
airtime in the customer’s dedicated account has a no-expiry validity. On the
other hand, the Y’ello Biz bonus offer will have 2nd priority if existing data or
airtime in the customer’s dedicated account has shorter validity relative to the
Y’ello Biz bonus offer.
The Y’elloBiz service is subject to MTN’s fair usage policy
10 TERMINATION
10.1 The Subscriber may terminate this service at any time and for whatever cause
by giving MTN 30 days’ notice in writing of its intention to do so.
10.2 MTN reserves the right to terminate the service without notice at any time for
reasons associated with fraud, bundle reselling, bundle duplication, failure to
comply with Terms and Conditions or regulatory requirement.
11 ASSIGNMENT
MTN shall be entitled to procure third parties at any time to meet its contractual
obligations for the continued delivery of the service.
12 LIABILITY
MTN shall under no circumstances accept liability for consequential loss, loss of
profit, and loss of data. Neither shall it accept damage caused by any use of its
services which is illegal or in breach of these Terms and Conditions

13 REFUND POLICY
13.1 MTN Ghana does not refund, or reverse purchased data bundles. Exceptions will
be made where the service is found to have failed to uphold its guarantees.
13.2 In case of policy violations by subscriber, all refunds are forfeited.
14 GENERAL
The subscriber must notify MTN immediately of any change of details as
submitted on the registration form. The provider agrees that information
submitted, including personal details and transactions will be recorded and kept
for record keeping purposes.
15 FORCE MAJEURE
MTN Ghana shall not be liable if the provision of the service is temporarily
interrupted, restricted in whole or in part or it is impossible to access the service
as a result of Force Majeure.
16 TRANSFER OF SERVICES
Subscribers should be able to transfer a whole or a portion of the Y’elloBiz
service (additional services) to another user.
17 GOVERNING LAW
This Terms & Conditions for the Y’ello Biz service is governed by the laws of the
Republic of Ghana.
Services encompassed in Y’ello Biz, (comprising of 4G router, Webwiz, Unicom, and
Microsoft 365) are purchased as a bundle thus these services cannot be decoupled.
