General Business Rule

  • Offer is open to only prepaid customers in Volta, Oti, Upper East, Upper West, Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, Northern, North East and Savannah regions.
  • Offer is subscription based
  • Daily auto subscription applies and will continue until subscriber decides to unsubscribe or will be automatically unsubscribed due to low credit balance to support the package.
  • Customer Dials *550# on USSD platform to accept the Jara offer.
  • Customer sends “STOP” to 550 to unsubscribe.
  • Subscription to the offer can be done on any day and offer can be enjoyed from Mondays to Saturdays.
  • Customers outside the Jara regions enjoy regular MTN tariffs.
  • Multiple and Repeat package subscriptions allowed.
  • All unutilized minutes and SMS’s will roll over and remain valid for 48 hours.
  • All unutilized minutes and SMS’s will expire only when there is no subscription renewal 2 Days after subscription.
  • All expirations occur at 11:59pm of the day of expiration. For the avoidance of any doubt, for example, the time and the day of expiration for a customer who subscribes to the offer on Monday is 11:59pm on Tuesday.
  • Unused minutes and SMSs subscribed on Saturday can be used on Sunday in line with the 2 Days validity rule.

Specific Business Rule (Option 1)

  • Cost of offer subscription is Ghc0.76

Specific Business Rule (Option 2)

  • Cost of promo subscription is Ghc1.41
  • Promo subscribers enjoy 37 minutes calls and 10 SMS to all Networks in Ghana all days excluding Sundays.
  • Jara offer begins at 00:01am and expires at 11:59pm the following day and subscribers’ account will be deducted again at mid-night of the day of subscription to enable the customer to enjoy the offer the following day.

Specific Business Rule (Option 3)

  • Cost of offer subscription is Ghc2.63
  • Promo subscribers enjoy 70 calls minutes and 10 SMS to all Networks in Ghana all days excluding Sundays.
  • Jara offer begins at 00:01am and expires at 11:59pm the following day and subscribers’ account will be deducted again at mid-night of the day of subscription to enable the customer to enjoy the offer the following day.
